When you device is fully off

Press and hold vol up + vol down + home + power buttons
Press vol down to scroll to wipe data factory reset
Press Home button to selection

Method 2 (Keypad code combination) Enter *2726*3855# Warning!!!! please back up prior to entering the code. Because that will not be confirmation or cancelling option after you key in the code.

Hard Reset / Format Motorola Atrix 4G MB860

1. Turn of your phone completely.
2. Press and hold power and volume down button 
3. Till you see fast boot on the screen
4. Press volume down to scroll till you see "Android Recovery"
5. Press volume up to select
6. See the android logo with exclamation mark pop up
